Abstract The simulation of quantum circuits on classical computers is an important problem in computing. Such requires representations distributions over very large sets basis vectors, and recent work has used symbolic data-structures such as Binary Decision Diagrams (BDDs) for this purpose. In tool paper, we present Quasimodo , extensible, open-source Python library circuits. specifically designed easy extensibility to other backends. allows simulations circuits, checking properties the outputs debugging It also user choose from among several data-structures—both unweighted weighted BDDs, a structure called Context-Free-Language Ordered (CFLOBDDs)—and can be easily extended support data-structures.
